Hyatt Resorts Great Summer Getaway ("Sweepstakes")

1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. Open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia, 18 years of age or older or the age of majority in their state. Employees, officers and directors (and their immediate families [spouse, children, parents, siblings] and those living in their same households [whether or not related]) of Hyatt Corporation (“Sponsor”), and any of its parent, subsidiary, and affiliated companies, advertising, promotion, or production agencies and web masters/suppliers are not eligible to participate. By participating, entrants agree to these Official Rules. All entries become property of Sponsor and will not be returned. Void where prohibited.
2. Promotional Period: Sweepstakes begins April 18, 2008 at 12:00:01 am CDT and ends September 1, 2008 at 11:59:59 pm CDT (“Promotional Period”). All entries must be received and recorded by the Sponsor’s computer during the Promotional Period. Sponsor’s computer is the official time keeping device for the Sweepstakes.
3. To Enter: During the Promotional Period, visit www.HyattResortsSummer.com ("Website") register with the website to receive one (1) entry. Create a video or photo travel itinerary ("Video") by uploading pictures of you and your family and friends to receive one additional (1) entry into the Sweepstakes. You will receive one (1) additional entry for each Video submitted. All Videos may be posted on the Website, but Sponsor has no obligation to publish such Videos. Entries must be received by September 1, 2008 by 11:59:59 pm CST to be eligible. Winner will be determined at random, per Section 4 of these Official Rules, and not on the quality of the Video. To enter, you will be asked to provide your full name, full address, phone number, email address, age. Limit of five (5) entries per person/registered user per day. Limit of five hundred and sixty (560) entries per person/registered user total during the Promotional Period. Any attempt to submit more than the maximum number of entries using multiple/different email addresses, identities or any other methods will void that participant’s entries. Entries generated by a robotic, programmed, script, macro or other automated means will be disqualified. No other forms of entry are valid other than those set forth above. All entry information becomes the property of the Sponsor and will not be returned. Sponsor reserves the right to verify all entries.
   
   Entrants warrant and represent that entrants have obtained full consent of all individuals pictured in the Videos ("Pictured Individuals") to use such images and likenesses to participate in the Sweepstakes, and further, that the Pictured Individuals have granted entrant permission to publish and disseminate such Videos containing the Pictured Individuals images and likenesses. Entrant acknowledges and agrees that once such Videos are published on the Internet or sent to friends via email, Sponsor has no means to retract or disable such Video.
4. Drawing: Weekly Winners: One (1) winner will be selected in a random drawing to be held at the end of each week beginning May 16, 2008 from among all eligible entries received prior to the weekly drawing date. Grand Prize Winner: The Grand Prize Winner will be selected in a random drawing to be held, on or about September 15th, 2008, from among all eligible entries received prior to end of the Promotional Period by the independent judging agency, whose decisions are final and binding in all matters relating to this Sweepstakes. Grand Prize Winners will be notified by email and/or phone no later than September 22nd and will be required to respond to the email or phone call within three (3) business days providing additional contact information. Weekly Winners will be notified by email and/or phone about three (3) days after the weekly drawing, and will be required to respond to the email or phone call within three (3) business days providing additional contact information. If winners do not respond within the stated timeframe, or notification is returned as undeliverable, the prize will be forfeited. Prize cannot be transferred, redeemed for cash or substituted, except by Sponsor who reserves the right to substitute a prize with a prize of equal or greater value.
5. Prizes/Odds: One (1) prize will be awarded each week between May 16 – August 29, 2008 ("Weekly Prizes"): A $300 Hyatt Gift Card or Hyatt Check Certificate redeemable at Hyatt Resorts located in North America, the Caribbean or Mexico. One (1) Grand Prize: Fifteen Thousand Dollars ($15,000) in Hyatt Gift Cards or Hyatt Check Certificates Redeemable at Hyatt Resorts located in North America, the Caribbean or Mexico ("Gift Cards"). Gift Cards are redeemable only for purchases of merchandise or services from Hyatt Resorts located in North America, the Caribbean or Mexico. This Gift Card is not redeemable for cash, except where required by law. Acceptance or use of this Gift Card constitutes acceptance of all Hyatt Gift Card terms and conditions posted at www.certificate.hyatt.com.com. Minimum and maximum purchase requirements may apply. Winners must accept prize as stated, or prize will be forfeited. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received for each drawing. Taxes, if any, are the sole responsibility of the winner. Total value of prizes to be awarded is $19,800. Limit one (1) Weekly Prize and one (1) Grand Prize per email address/person/household.
6. General Conditions: Participants agree (a) that Sponsor, subsidiaries and affiliated companies, advertising and promotion agencies, and all of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents are released, will have no liability whatsoever for, and shall be held harmless by participants against any liability for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind to person(s), including death, or property resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, misuse or use of the prize or participation in this Sweepstakes or any Sweepstakes related activities and (b) except where legally prohibited, winner grants (and agree to confirm that grant in writing) permission to Sponsor and those acting under its authority the right to the use of his/her name, picture, likeness, voice, biographical information and statements, at any time or times, for advertising, trade, publicity and promotional purposes without additional compensation, in all media now known or hereafter discovered, worldwide and on the Internet and World Wide Web, without notice, review or approval. Prize winner may be required to complete, sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, a Liability Release, and where lawful a Publicity Release within seven (7) days of date of prize notification. If documents are not returned timely, or if the prize notification or prize is returned as non-deliverable, or if a winner is found to be ineligible or otherwise not in compliance with these Official Rules, prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner selected. 7. Limitations of Liability: Neither Sponsor nor its agencies is responsible for lost, illegible, late, misdirected, incomplete, mutilated, or non-delivered entries or email; or for interrupted or unavailable satellite, network, server, Internet Service Provider (ISP), Web site, telephone or other connections, availability or accessibility, or miscommunications, or failed computer, satellite, telephone or cable transmissions, or lines, or technical failure or jumbled, garbled, corrupted, scrambled, delayed, or misdirected transmissions, or computer hardware or software or telephone malfunctions, failures, or technical errors or difficulties, or other errors of any kind whether human, mechanical, electronic or network or the incorrect or inaccurate capture of entry or other information or the failure to capture, or loss of, any such information. Neither Sponsor nor its agencies is responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by Website users, or by any equipment or programming associated with or utilized in this Sweepstakes; and assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect or delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or tampering with or hacking of the Web site. Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with entry process or operation of Sweepstakes or Website, to be acting in violation of the terms of the Website or to be acting in a non-sportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to threaten, discredit, abuse or harass any other person. Sponsor is not responsible for injury or damage to participants’ or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participating in this Sweepstakes or downloading or copying materials from or use of Website. If, for any reason, Sweepstakes, in the sole opinion of Sponsor, is not capable of running as planned by reason of infection by computer virus, worms, bugs, tampering, hacking, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes which, in sole opinion of the Sponsor, corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend Sweepstakes, and randomly select winners from eligible entries received prior to action taken, or as otherwise deemed fair and equitable by Sponsor. In case of dispute, authorized subscriber of e-mail account used to register will be deemed to be the participant, and must comply with these Official Rules. The authorized account subscriber is deemed to be the natural person who is assigned an e-mail address by an Internet Access Provider, on-line service provider, or other organization that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses.
   
   IN NO EVENT WILL SPONSOR AND ITS AFFILIATES, SUBSIDIARIES AND RELATED COMPANIES, THEIR ADVERTISING OR PROMOTION AGENCIES OR ALL OF THEIR RESPECTIVE OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, REPRESENTATIVES AND AGENTS BE RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES OR LOSSES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR ACCESS TO AND USE OF THE WEBSITE OR DOWNLOADING FROM, UPLOADING TO AND/OR PRINTING OR SENDING MATERIAL DOWNLOADED FROM OR CREATED ON SAID WEBSITE. WITHOUT LIMITING THE FOREGOING, EVERYTHING ON THIS WEBSITE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. 8. Winners List: For the names of the prize winners, write your name and complete address on a 3”x5” card and mail in a first-class stamped envelope to: Hyatt Corporation, Attn: Hyatt Resorts Great Summer Getaway, 71 S. Wacker Drive, Chicago IL 60606. Requests must be received by September 30, 2008.
